Totoro's bed

Today I made Totoro's bed.
It is orderd from Haruki,my son.
I made it which was near to his plan.
I reappeared about a ladder and a top of the details.

He seemed to be satisfied.
He played with his favorite dolls , 'Totoro and Sheep' , at once.

Painting log wall

Today I painted my house's log wall.
So, I discoverd cecada!
May be it has just hatched,because he didn't readily fly.

Painting log wall process

1. Drop a dirt of a wall with a dustcloth and a scrubbing brush.

2.Painting,painting.............

I become full of paint, and a hand and a face, clothes are stained, too

It is very hard work, but very important to keep good condition of wall. So, I have to carry it out every about 3years.

My lathe

Today , I introduce my lathe.
It has six speeds.
I can change speed by exchanging belt drive of a pulley.
It is troblesome to change turn speed, so I want to convert inverter drive.
But , I have no electlic knowledge......

I'm beginer of wood turning.
So, my lathe is just size to improve my skill!

Doll bed

I made a bed of a doll ordered from my daughter.

Next time she will ask my wife to make blanket.
Older brother seemed to be enviable, too.

He wrote a plan of a bed of 'Totoro' which he wanted me to make it.
His design is good!
I will try next weekend!

Birthday Present

I made special box. It has cover with screw.
I tryed it for the first time.
This box is my wife's birrthday present.
She will put accessories in it.

For bazaar

I made new wooden pots and dishes for kindergarten's bazzar.
I made pots by yellow cider, and dishes by pine tree.
Pot it is difficult to hollow , deep hollowing is not easy to keep my turnig wood's balance.
But pots are popular among children. Training hard, hollowingday!
