Ski school day4

Today it was final day of ski school.

Unfortunately Minami caught a cold and she could not go skiing, I took Haruki only today.

There were lot of powder snow on the slope, so I and Haruki had super excellent skiing today!

Haruki reached level 3 or 4 in his skill.

I had small pain in my leg especially hamstring because of two straight days running.

Anyway today it was one of the best day of my visiting.

After that, Haruki and Minami got Pizza prize as a reading reward.

We had Pizza party in dinner, Minami was getting better her cold, and she was able to eat it.

Thank you for good Pizza, Haruki & Minami!

Haru & Mina Valentine party

Haruki and Minami had Valentine party at elementary school.

They and Ritsuko prepare a lot of snacks and message, I'm sorry I couldn't help.

Today they brought back many snacks and message cards.

I'm jealous, their school life looks very happy!

Valentine party

Kanami and Otomi had Valentine party at day care center today.

Ritsuko went to center and join with them.

The party was eat snack which was brought by each kids from home.

Kanami and Otomi looks very happy and Ritsuko also happy.

In U.S. Valentine is different from Japan, In Japan Valentine day that was the day women give chocolate to men, the reason why is might be sales strategy of some chocolate company!

Two girls are very happy to eat sweet snacks.

They had happy time in U.S. Valentine day!

Barbecue Party

Today we had Korean style barbecue "Yakiniku" party in my home.

I used to work part-time in Korean restaurant when I was college student.

I learned how to season meat with some sesame oil, garlic and some flavoring.

Also friends bring a lot of foods, and few days ago my wife made Kimuchi, today our home just turned to Korean style oriental restaurant!

When they ate "Yakiniku" all of friends said "Oishi-! Taste good!",so I and Ritsuko were very happy!

Ritsuko and her friends planed one surprise to present diaper-cake for a couple who will have baby this month.That was nice idea and they was surprised and pleased.

We are going to have a lot of party this year!

Super Bowl party

Today it was Super Bowl game day.

I'm not familiar with American foot ball very much.

But we family love to have party and to talk with friends.

The food was very nice, especially Taiyaki was so great!

Taiyaki is looks like pan cake with anko, which is bean jam.

My wife made "Ehou-maki", kind of a Sushi-roll.Usually there is 7 kind filling on that roll based on seven gods of good fortune.The 7 is happy number in Japan, China is 8 so their good gods are 8 ,what number is lucky number in U.S.A.?

It was Japanese western traditional food and it was ate in "Setsubun" :the day before setting-in spring.When you eat it, you should face in some direction with your making wish without chat. This year's direction is east-northeast.

And the game also nice but Nevada was lost...

We cheered Nevada because nearest from Idaho.

It's very simple thinking!

Anyway we had a lot of fun time with nice food and nice game!

Thanks Giving!

We invited my colleague to my house for Thanks giving party.

My wife try to cook big Turkey.

She has good technique to cook and imagination.

We were enjoying party with delicious meal and happy talk.

We were excited about ad of "Black Friday"!
