Halloween!

Today was Halloween day!

Kids were no school day and they had preparing enough from morning.

Haruki had Syorinji-Kempo, he finished training and we went to "Trick or Treat" tour with his friends.

They took a walk for 1 and half hour and got a lot of candies.

Please brush your teeth!

Surprise bag

Haruki's class room has some interesting event, which are called surprise bag.
Someone selected by lot who have to bring his favorite or proud thing.

And play trivia with some hint about what kind of something hide into the bag.

Haruki brought his treasure, trophy.
Which he got it as award for recitation of Japanese old poem and story.
He has good memory! better than me......

Pen turning not wood acrylic

After a long interval, I made pen turning.

I tried ball point pen with cap 1st time.

I had some mistakes, but recovered it.(I believe!)

My wife's impression is good, she said grip is easy!

I gave her my first work.

I reflected my work ;

The root cause of fail, I did not think my work shop is organized well.

Woodman should clean up his work shop and organized well.

Before next project, I should clean up and organized my shop.

1st Snow

Today we could see snowing.

That was the earliest snow in Boise according to news papeer.

Anyway I am looking forward to going to ski!

Mushroom

In Japan my friends were enjoying mushroom-gathering.

I had little jealousy.

Oh Look!

I can find it in front of my office!

Can I eat it or not?

Portland trip 3

Today we went to children museum in the morning.

That was a nice place for little kids.

Kids were enjoying about for 2hours.

We met Derek-san who helped our moving at there.

We ate lunch together, he took Haruki and Minami to OMSI.

They were studying science through activity and small experiment.

When they were enjoying,we were also shopping at mall and having nice time.

Haruki and Minami were had a great time with Derek-san.

Next Sunday we came back to Boise, on the way we saw a beautiful fall in along the Colombia river .

There was some trouble in our car.

It had small puncture.

But we could came back to our home safety.

Portland trip2

We were planning to go to Oregon zoo.

But it was raining from morning.

So we went to Outlet mall it was called "Wood burn".

There are several shops we are interested.

My wife Ritsuko was happy to buy new pan of LeCreuset.

And we also went to Uwajimaya which is Japanese grocery store.

We got a lot of Japanese foods!

Portland trip 1

Haruki and Minami, there was no school day from 2nd of Oct to 3rd.
So we were suddenly planning to go to Portland for leisure(to eat Japanese food,Sushi!)
It was going to be bad weather condition as the forecast, but we were going to Sushi restaurant!
We could reach and get our Japanese favorite food "Sushi".
The taste was so good that the cost was also ....
Anyway we family were sutisfied with it.
