New school year!

It was school start day today.

Haruki and Minami met new teacher and new classmates.

They were looking forward to new year of school.

Minami was happy, because her teacher was same as haruki's last year teacher.

And luckily Minami and Haruki were same ELL teacher Ms. Moore who taught both of them last year.

When they got home, their first word was "It was fun!" with full smile.

I hope they can good school year again!

Golf with Haruki

Yesterday I purchased junior golf set for Haruki.

And today we went to Fox tail to play golf with Po and Toribio family.

Haruki just practiced yesterday only, but he tried to debut on course.

We decide to play 18 hole.

He swung a lot, so almost he was tired and he gave up 9 holes.

But he want to see our play, so we were keeping to do end of hole.

It was too hot to play, and to see.

Haruki got a bloody nose in 18 hole, it might too much hot for him.

Sorry Haruki, but he seemed to have fun.

He wanted to try again.

We need more and more practice to play well!

Let's go Haruki together!

Bobcat

It was pack meeting day today.

Haruki got Bobcat badge, which was kind of 1st step of scouts.

He got some skill in scout activity, after that he could have it.

And there were small ceremony in pack meeting.

Parents also got the reword from cub master.

Haruki gave the ping badge and attach it to his mother.

Both of them had a lot of smile, so it was happy time for us.

After meeting, it was dessert time, all of kids got ice cream!

Golf practice

Today I went to golf practice to hit away.

I used to play golf without conscious for my form.

But I'm trying to change to ideal form to hit stably.

It is very difficult for me, every time my ball was flying unequal direction in today's practice.

Anyway I need more and more practice.

Golden fish

Ritsuko, Haruki and Minami got a new aquarium at Walmart.

At first, they were looking for filter for old aquarium.

But it was not so cheap they were expected, then Ritsuko found discounted set of aquarium and filter that price almost same as just one filter, so she decided to purchase.

And Haruki and Minami have gotten library prizes those are golden fish ticket.

We were thinking they might not work for our family, but Haruki got fish at fair yesterday.

They used them today. And now we are having 3 golden fishes,"Pac-kun","Hac-kun", "Tac-kun".

We are not sure their name come from.

Idaho Fair

Today we went to Idaho Fair that took place in Idaho expo and was family day so the cost to ride ticket was cheaper than usual.

Haruki and Minami were still small to ride all of them but they had a much of fun.

After 5 p.m. we need another ticket but Ritsuko bought 3 set of ticket, we spent them.

And we were enjoying game at stall, then Haruki got gold fish by he throwing ping-pon and scored.

After riding, we watch several animal they were shown and touchable.

And we were able to observe the newly hatched chick from egg.

At home we looked for aquarium and set water for gold fish "Pac-kun" named by Haruki.

Anyway we all had a good day at fair.

Water Park

Today we, Haruki and Minami went to water park Roarling Springs with Po.


Otomi and Kanami had a runny nose but if they noted going pool, they wanted to do, so we were pretend to go shopping.

Haruki and Minami were able to enjoy endless river, wave pool and water sliders.

I and Po also were enjoying but we had small worry about tomorrow's morning golf.

Golf clubor

Today I bought new golf club finally!

For now I wanted to see how much cost and if there are nice club or not.

When I went to the first shop, I just looking and left there without purchase anything.

But next shop, I tried to hit the ball with my target club, Nike square type driver,

after that I bought it! Additionally I just ask if they have nice iron set, they did....

I purchased them!

Anyway I need to practice more hard!!

Golf

Recently days,I'm interesting to play golf.
Actually I have played golf, but it was not so serious.
But I changed my mind it was very difficult sports and depthful.
I will try to study how to use my body and the mechanism of hit the ball exactly straight and far away.
Anyway I need new gear??
I need approval from Ritsuko!

Pet bottle rocket

Haruki learned pet bottle rocket in his cub scout.

And we had chance to go his ex-cub leader's home on last weekend and played with it again.

When he came back home, he want to play with himself, so he designed the equipment for rocket.

And I and Haruki went to Lowe's and buy pipes and joints. All of them were selected by Haruki.

After that, I cut the pipe by Harki's drawing.

Additionally we had to drink soda which was in big pet bottle.

Haruki taught Minami how to make rocket and Minami tried to make air plane shape rocket.

After drinking all of soda, We tried to fly it, but every time the joint between pet bottle and pipe was come off so we need more tune-up.

Anyway this is easy system but there were lot of fun!

New project

I have a new project for new baby.

Still planning...like this.

Easy Book shelf

I made easy book shelf for kid's book.

Haruki helped me well, so we made it only 3 or 4 hours.

After I fixed the book shelf in 2nd floor room next to the kids room.

Haruki and Minami organized their books to that shelf.

Fishing and Woodworking day...

In this week we have no plan to go somewhere, so I went to fishing.
Tommy got two fish but I did not catch any...

And we had good time to see many many stars in the dark sky and caught a little shooting star, it was so beautiful and wonderful!


I have some wood working projects in recently day.
To organize kid's books and to prepare for new baby!

Vacant day

Today two little kids went to day care center and older kids joined church summer program.

I and Ritsuko went to Ahi sushi-bar in lunch time.

Ritsuko was first time to go there, she looked so happy!

And I went to neighbor home center Lowes to buy wood for small my project.

We had dinner at outside and tried to use new grill, for which we can bring camp site.

It was easy to use, I'll have plan for camping!

MTB park

Today I and Haruki got up early in the morning and went to cycling park.

Haruki wanted to try his new bike, so I took him to the park.

There were many course for MTB, dirt down hill and under construction courses.

We tried to practice riding on narrow bridge and small tricks.

Haruki wanted to come again.

Lunch time, we went to Chuck E Cheese for Kanami's birthday.

She wanted to have party at there with my family, and she had lot of fun with playing games with her brother and sisters.

Hiroshima style Okonomi-yaki

Today Ritsuko tryed to make Hiroshima style Okonomi-yaki.

Okonomi-yaki looks like pancake with meat and vegetables.

Hiroshima style means add with fried noodle.

That was so nice!

Gyoza

Gyoza in English is pot-sticker.

Today Ritsuko and Minami made it in dinner.

Gyoza,at first it need filling which was made by mixed vegetable, grind pork and beef.

After that is wrapped by thin round wrap which is made from flour.

Ritsuko made filling at first, then she and Minami rolled up them.

Ritsuko is very fast to do and shape is very good, Minami is slow to do but finishing is so nice!

Minami liked to help her mothers cooking, she'll get good cook skill in the future.

Gyoza, they were very tasty!
