Haruki got first place at Pinewood derby!

Today we had pinewood derby.
We started to make pine car few weeks ago.
Haruki designed and select color.
I cut wood then Haruki sand it by several paper.

I polished wheel and axes very well.
And looks very good!

Haruki's car is fastest in the our den.
He got first place at first and final pinewood derby.
We hope we can enjoy pinewood derby in Japan also.

Haruki prefer red for main color.

And he designed silver stripe in center.

Still he want to add yellow color....

Race will be held in this Thursday!

I need to adjust wheel alignment.

Pine derby car, I had small progress.

Just curving with curving tool.

That was first time for me but pine was easy to cut and very interesting.

So I did with excitement for few hours.

I can't wait next step!

But it seems get more difficult step by step.
