Chilly golf

Today we had golf round in Lakeview golf club at noon.

By the weather forecast, there were no rain almost cloudy.

But it was so chilly and windy day.

We start at two but it was so slow, some one hit the ball too many!?

Unfortunately when we finished the 5th hole, rain came and we gave up to continue.

Fortunately, course master gave us rain check for 9th hole.

We will try to play again.

After the round, we enjoyed Okonomiyaki-party at Tomy's home!

Laser's 4th game day!

It was 4th game day of Lasers.

Prior to the game I and Axel went to golf practice.
If it will not be rainy tomorrow, we have round at somewhere.

Today's game was nice game.
We got point at first, and two points in first half.
Then we lost one by PK but near end of the second half we got one more.
After all we won four to one.

I shot the two shoot but not good, I had good pass for goal, so one assist.
Anyway we hope we can good game next Sunday.

Autumn color

Today it was so chilly day today.

When I left the home to my office, my car's window was icy!

And recently the tree in the campus of the office had yellow color leaves.

But it will be not so long autumn, maybe be winter sooner.

I would like to enjoy outdoor sports except skiing by snow coming.

Haruki at Pack Meeting

Few weeks ago, there was Pack meeting in Haruki's cub scouting.

And Haruki had a big roll in that meeting.

He conducted the host for the frag ceremony for all of the attendance.

He had a great job and that was almost smooth action.

Haruki good job and thank you!

Snack from Japan

Yesterday We got the gift bag from Japan.

That was sent by my friends and there were lot of snacks in the bag.

All of kids were so exciting and looked happy.

They enjoyed eating snacks with their full of smile!

GooooaLL!

It was Lasers game day today.

Today we had game Cassia park.

Prior to the game we had sightseeing at Boise down town on trolleybus.

Children were enjoying the tour.

I also was able to relax and small nap?!

Opponents team was tough team and we had balanced game.

We got point at first then the other side got the score again.

The near end of the first half, finally I got a goal!

That was not so beautiful goal, but I was so happy and it seems too much lucky!

The second half we got one more point and lose one.

But we won the game!

It was very nice game and I was so happy!

I hope I can get the point in next game!!

Golf

It was the Golf day today.
Recently I had many times to play golf, looks like kind of club activity!?

Today my putting is better than ever.
So I could get my best score 102.

The day before today, I had game plan in my home how to shot and how to point the score with course map, it was kind of image training.
I'm not sure but that might cause good result.
Anyway I have a lot of fun to play golf now.
I hope I can get less under 100 score in this season!!

School open house

It was school ope house day today.
At first the principal had small talk about school goal in this year and introduced each teacher.
Then each teacher had meeting with parents to explain the class goal and target.
Minami's teacher is same as Haruki was in 2nd grade.
Minami also knew her well, we were at ease.
Haruki's teacher was looks so kind and her explanation was also careful and I was happy.

Anyway Haruki and Minami started good school life again and I'm looking forward to their growing in their school life this year.

Final game!

It was Yarkinicos's final game today.

Yesterday I had sick and slept in bed whole day.

I believed that is first time for me when I came to Boise.

But I got better and I was eager to join final game today.

We had a very good game.

Ohiki-san had nice pitching and our defence and offence is so nice.

We won the game and had a great result in final game.

I am grateful to Katsumoto-san and all team members!

I hope we will be able to have a good season next year again!

Minami's surprise bag

Minami brought back surprise bag from her class.

That was same rule which Haruki had last year.

Minami selected her album as a surprise.

And she was thinking the question about how to ask her class mate.

And she did it almost herself.

I think it was so great job, if it was same thing happen in last year, she could not do that.

I'm very happy to feel her great improvement in one year.

Otomi

Recently youngest daughter Otomi began to speak lots of words and some sentence.

When someone spoke to her, she tried to make same sound and sentence.

She is just 2 year and 3 months, she like baby and want to take care.

Today she tried to be worn diaper for her favorite doll "An-panman".

She will take care her brother too much when baby come!

Lasers 2nd game

Today, it was Lasers 2nd game day.

Actually we overslept this morning and our breakfast was too much late then we had no time to eat lunch time.

The game was starting from 3 p.m., my family came to see game but it was windy and little bit chilly, then they got back home after first half was done.

We got a two score in first half, then second half we got five score.

I shot 2 or 3 times but I did not get score...

I try again next game!

Family Shorinji

Today, it was special shorinji day.

It was for only adult class on Wednesday, but the teacher Mr. Yokoyama opened for kids.

But Haruki was only one student today.

So we family joined practice with haruki.

All of kids tried to pre-exercise for practice, then I and Minami tried to do.

After that, Minami was so pleasure to do that she want to join usual practice.

She will do next practice on this Friday.

Haruki's book from school

Haruki brought books from school library.

Today, he took two books.

One is about "Mummy" and ancient Egypt.

He likes "Mummy", but I'm not sure why he is so interested in them.

And another book is about NASCAR.

He is prefer to car and machine, also its mechanism.

Anyway he is able to read himself alone, it is great job Haruki!

Chess

I taught how to chess to Haruki and Minami.
They saw their friends were playing chess in school, so they asked me that way to play.
I used to play Shougi, that was kind of Japanese chess, and sometime also did chess.
But as my bad memory I lost the role of each peace, so I studied again by Internet.
They were so first to understand the rule of chess.
They were able to enjoy playing it long time after my short teaching.

Golf and Soft ball day

Today I was busy to do couple of sports.

From 7:30 I started to play golf with Yarkinicos member.

That was a competition of 4th Yarkinikos cup in Bun Bury course at Eagle.

My score was better than previous.

And I need to improve pat shot on the green.

After golf I played soft ball.

I played as a starting pitcher.

It was men and women mixed team, normal ball for men and small ball for women was used in that game, then men's turn I must to throw normal ball women's turn must to do small ball, so it was difficult for me.

I could have a lots of fun to do couple of sports.

Next Sunday I must to run hard! because Lasers soccer game!

Broncos Game!

It was game day today!
I went Broncos stadium to see game with my friend and Haruki.

Opposition was Miami University they are from Ohio.

We needed to wear white today game, so prior to the game, I and Axel went to Bronco shop in the Boise mall. Then there were so many people in the shop I have never seen before.

Before the game Tommy prepared BBQ party in his home, we enjoyed good lunch.

After that we went to Bronco game.

The game was so exciting, but Boise Broncos was too much strong, so that was lopsided game.

Anyway we had a lots of fun to see nice Bronco's game.

On the way to home from stadium, we saw curious scene out of the stadium.

There were lot of big TV screen on the track and they watched it.

Why they need to see TV near by stadium?

I hope I can see another game in stadium again.

Debut@Lasers

Today it was debut day in official real soccer game at Sunset park.

I and Axel joined my co-workers team "Lasers" from this season.

And it was first game day.

It was 45 minutes half full game, We're worry about if we can run and stand all over the game.

But member change was flexible, so we could take a rest to drink and refreshing.

Against team had good skill fast and good pass, so we lost 4 point.

I did my best and just one shoot, but it was no good.

Too much tired, but it was a lot of fun.

I'm looking forward to getting point next game? next next...

Mistery Box from Japan

Today Ritsuko went to post office to get box from her sister in Japan.

It was too big to carry for herself, so post office kind man helped her.

And there were many stamps on the box, post man was so surprised.

That box was called "Mystery Box".

The contents of box is a lot of stuff which she asked her sister to send.

All of kids were so happy to get Japanese something small things.

And after that they played with that box, they enjoyed two times with one box.

Ani-san family, Thank you for sending a lot of things from Japan!

McCall

We went to McCall this weekend with our friend's family.

1st day;

We went to Mill steak house again! Prime rib was awesome!!

We had talking until at mid night after kids were going to bed.

2nd day;

We went beach of the Payette lake, it was pretty hot and we could enjoy playing there.

And there were historic car meeting near that beach.

I have seen T-model Ford which can run first time.

In dinner Ritsuko ans I made Tako-yaki and Hiroshima style Okonomi-yaki.

We had a good dinner.

3rd day;

Haruki tried to ride mountain bike in natural trail at Ponderossa state park that was his first experience, he was so excited and he wanted to try again.

After that we had small nap and went to hot spring.

That was so nice, and we had much relax time there.

4th day;

I tried to play tennis after a long interval, it was first time in U.S.A

We went to beach again and had desert time with ice cream, after that we left McCall.

That was so nice trip for us.

Amish Friendship Bread

Ritsuko got "Amish Friendship Bread" from her friend.

That is kind of cake bread and, it needs to care 10 days before making it.

After 10 days it will be quartering original one.

One is used to make bread and the rest of three are given to friend.

It was just 10 days from her getting yesterday, so Ritsuko tried to make it and pretty tasty.

She presented three of the rest to her friend today.

Tool

I purchased new tool for wood working.

One is the jig for to sharpen skew chisel.

Second is forstner bit.

It is the tool for making hole.

I'll use these tool to make bed and some projects in the future.
